Classes

Village class is for babies from 3 - 18 months and provides a warm introduction to music for your baby. Classes provide a small group, a safe environment and a trusting atmosphere where baby is enriched and Adult is affirmed and encouraged. Some of the activities included in a class are: Gathering time, massage, warm-up exercises, singing and chanting, movement, object play, instrument exploration and vocal play. Classes are roughly 45 minutes duration.

There is a relaxed and fun atmosphere in the class and we all enjoy observing how the babies interact with each other. There is a great social side too as many participants are first time mums, we share the developmental milestones of each baby as they occur.
Quality home materials enhance the experience and are included in the fee.

This class is for toddlers from 18 months to age 3 years. The class is 45 minutes roughly.
Just as the young Kangaroo bounds away then back to the security of the pouch, the toddler is eager to explore alone then rushes back to the parent for reassurance. In the Our Time class we have great fun! Language skills are fostered with singing, sound imitation, rhyming and object identification. Creative dancing to different musical moods develops her sense of balance, timing and spatial awareness while affirming her urge to move. Social skills begin to blossom. Our Time provides the safety of training wheels for the bicycle of pre-school!

Some activities which we do in class include: singing, movement, story time. Songs with actions, circle dances, instruments exploration and play along.

The superb home materials extend the learning beyond the class and include, a double CD, 2 books, instrument and activity book.
